DynaPak DCP – Denisty Controlled Valve Stem Packing Constructed of two, high-density molded Thermabraid®® style flexible graphite end rings with inconel reinforcement and three (center) density-controlled Thermafoil®®® TF-B die molded sealing rings. High-density end rings provide rapid and uniform load transfer from the gland follower directly to the sealing rings. The lower density sealing rings easily transfer this axial loading into radial force and move the stem. Available for standard and metric valve stuffing boxes and can be used for rising and rotating valve stem applications. High-Cycle RVP, 1/4 turn Rotary Valve Packing The single cartridge design of EGC’s High Cycle, Rotary Valve Packing reduces failure by using a “wiper” system that eliminates stem friction and increases the cycle life of the packing. So you’ll never loose load and that makes retorquing a thing-of-the-past. Because of its shallow design, the single cartridge fits exceptionally well in the minimum stuffing box of, for instance, a ball valve. But it can also be used in butterfly, gate or other rotating and rising valves. Caps can be added for additional extrusion resistance for loose fitting.
