VSG Pro Pack – Rising Stem Packing The VSG Rising Stem Packing is composed of two, Inconel-jacketed end rings and a pure graphite center ring. The end rings act as an anti-extrusion devise to prevent graphite from extruding up the shaft and a wiping devise that keeps the shaft free of debris. The end rings contain no PTFE (a blocking agent) which can cause excessive pitting or corrosion of the valve stem and body. The center ring is made of 100% pure graphite and makes contact with the valve body ID and the stem. The end rings enable the VSG Center ring to move up and down the shaft as a singular unit.
TOBV Seat Seals- Bi-Directional and Leak Free Thermafoil pure flexible graphite is sandwiched between one (or more) metal components. The graphite provides the highest level of spring back and allows the metal to flex freely and with repeatability throughout cycles. EGC has developed an advanced manufacturing process that creates a burr-free metal component ensuring an uninterrupted sealing surface. By combining a burr-free metal component and uniform flexure, the circumference of the Seat Seal is evenly loaded achieving the tightest shut off with the least amount of torque.
Low-E – Most resilient, fire safe gaskets available. The low-emissions RCG is the most resilient, metal inserted, fire-safe gasket for flange connections. It’s also got the highest seal-ability to load ratio available. The exclusive spring-action metal core maintains resilience throughout the complete operational life cycle. The stainless steel, multi-wave design separates the fire safe Thermafoil®® graphite facing material and creates a labyrinth of defined highdensity, high-load sealing regions. So, you get a gasket that delivers the ultimate seal-ability over an extreme range of operating conditions and clamp loads.
Alta-P, Ultra, High Pressure Flange Gaskets The material consists of two parts, graphite and stainless steel. The highstrength, graphite laminate material is made-up of alternating layers of highquality Industrial-grade Thermafoil® LAP and .002” (0.05 mm) thickness of 316 or 321 grade stainless steel foil. Alta-P is resistant to blow-outs and can handle gasket pressures over 40,000 psi and internal pressures of up to 3,500 psi in non-contained applications. It can be raised to 10,000 psi when the gasket is contained. Temperatures range from -400°F (240°C) to 975°F (525°C). Thermafoil material MAY be used at higher temperatures in non-oxidizing environments OR with non-oxidizing fluids such as steam.
